Going into the build the concept was a lamp… haha however we know how that story ended it was going to be a custom piece not just a restoration. As for when I started building the bike I knew I wanted it to have a Native American theme. Once you figure out about the History of Hodaka and how unique they were with their nomenclature, I knew I wanted to do an Aztec/ Navajo inspired build. On a side note I grew up in a house with parents that loved Native American art and paintings. We had them all over my house which inspired me to one day start sketching out on my notebook a Native American theme with Sitting Bull, Feathers, a dream catcher, and a Teepee. This was it, I was going to somehow incorporate each type of theme into my bike build. I wanted it to have a feel of the elements in this build; fire, air, water, and earth.
