Resurrected from a wreck that was butchered into a dirt bike and destined for scrap.
Completely built in home garage with minimal tooling,only outsourcing was the engine machining.
Mostly built from off the shelf stock components from lots of other Yamaha bikes which makes for simple bolt on replacement of parts if needed in the future.
Motor rebuilt back to std spec.
PMA (alternator) sourced from RD350LC
Carbs 34mm Mikuni Roundslides
Only major frame modification is the single shock conversion.
Chassis geometry based on 1990 FZR400R and rides and steers beautifully.
Brakes are twin 300mm floating discs and brembo 4 pot calipers./2 pot rear
Forks are FZR600 Thundercat
