Started life as a neglected 1981 Honda CBX Pro Link. Stripped completely, frame braced and painted bright metallic silver, as is the engine. Fuel tank is from the 78-80 model CBX, painted SS Commodore red. The red / silver / gold is to pay tribute to the old Honda racing colours. Wheels, brakes, front and rear ends from a 2008 Hyabusa. Forks extended 80 mm to give the correct ride height. HEL brake lines. Titanium 6 into 2 into 1 exhaust.
Engine ported, JE 10.5:1 pistons 1147cc (3 mm overbore), Falicon crank and rods. Keihin CRS 29 mm carbs. 110 rear wheel horsepower, up from 77 in stock form. 1985 VF 400 seat, custom tail piece. LED lights, GPS speedo / tacho. Keyless ignition. Fun to ride!
