I build bikes as a hobby in my spare time. I have a full time job in Health IT studying rare diseases and so working on bikes is my break away from computers. I tore this R80RT completely down and powdercoated every part that I could and used high temp engine paint for the rest. I decided to ditch the heavy rear subframe and exchange it for new suspension and a bobber seat made by some great guys @the_cycle_shed. I kept as many stock pieces as I could like the headlight and front fender but I just modified them to fit the new look a bit better. My dad and I painted the tank in House of Kolor Galaxy Gray which looks phenomenal in the sun especially when matched up with the bronze powdercoated wheels.
