This is my second SR 250 Special. The first was a bobber, and with this one I wanted to prove that I could achieve an absolutely different result with the same base.
I really wanted to build a café racer, but wanted it to look completely different to the rest I had seen, with a neoclassical flare to it.
And of course, I wanted it to go faster and perform better than stock.
The fiberglass parts were the hardest, as a one man band and trial and error method, the front fairing took 3 takes and the tail 4 to get them perfect.
And of course homologation, as this bike had to be (and is) 100% street legal. Spain is very tough on custom bikes, even more than Germany, believe it or not…
