The bike belongs to one of our clients, who used to ride it during the summer to go to the beach. But at the end of the passed summer he was thinking of getting a new look to this Yamaha TW.
We took inspiration from the southern California Kustom Kulture and from the chopper world as well.
We didn’t want to upset the original concept of the bike, because it’s very suitable to drive up the coat and also have enough room for two.
We started making the front and rear fenders shaped by us in aluminium shaped by us, as well as the side panels. We chose some old school lights and a flat track style handlebar, we removed all the unneeded electrical part, like the speedo and the key (replaced by a very hidden switch).
Then we chrome plated many parts of the bike and mirror polished all the aluminium parts.
The seat was lightly modified and covered with a nice blue marine grade leather.
The tank, after being equipped with a new cap, has been painted in this fully 60’s style metalflake with the mirror polished stripes that link with the aluminium side panels.
