If you’re looking for a Hypercar to flex your financial muscle on the streets of the world’s great cities, then manufacturers from around the globe have you covered. But in the realm of two-wheels, one brand stands head and shoulders above the rest on the rich lists most wanted. Ducati have cemented its place at the top of the tree, and if money is no option, then bikes like this Ducati Streetfighter V4S from KikasDesign are what playboys dream about. Known as ‘Blu Sideris’, it has been meticulously crafted for a client in France, and it’s a machine that wraps Italian fury in Estonian precision and Austin swagger.

For those unfamiliar with KikasDesign, the name now carries weight on both sides of the Atlantic. Based proudly in Austin, Texas, the studio was born from deep European roots and nearly 20 years of hands-on experience. Originally founded in Estonia, the brand built its reputation on high-performance Ducati builds delivered to riders in over 30 countries. Today, with studios in both Tallinn and Austin, KikasDesign gives U.S. and international clients the same uncompromising craftsmanship; no borders as barriers!

The story behind the brand is as crafted as the bikes themselves. It all began in 2007, when a 15-year-old Ingo Kikas couldn’t wait to customise his first scooter. That hobby turned into an obsession, and obsession quickly became KickassTuning, Estonia’s go-to name for elite motorcycle paintwork. After years of working with dealers, builders, and private clients, Ingo hit every goal he’d set for himself. So he did what great builders do: he levelled up. KickassTuning evolved into KikasDesign, a studio dedicated exclusively to tailor-made Ducati machinery, blending mechanical engineering discipline with a designer’s eye for beauty.

That design philosophy, “Nothing is too beautiful, nothing is too expensive”, lives in every centimetre of the Blu Sideris build. The base bike, a 2021 Ducati StreetFighter V4S pumping out 153 kW at a screaming 13,000 rpm from its 1103cc V4, was already a masterpiece of Italian aggression. But under Kikas Design’s hands, it becomes something far more refined, far more intentional. Every line feels sharpened. Every surface feels curated. Nothing left untouched.

The signature element, of course, is the paintwork. The main colour, Lamborghini Blu Sideris, sets the tone, a deep, metallic blue that shifts from elegant to explosive depending on the light. But the real magic lives in the details: the bronze accents and logos aren’t decals. They’re painted, layered, and sealed beneath a flawless high-gloss clear coat. Even the anodising is bespoke. Parts like the clutch pressure plate, billet engine mount, and rear sprocket kit were shipped all the way to Italy to achieve the exact shade of blue needed to harmonise with the bodywork. You don’t go to those lengths unless perfection is the only acceptable endpoint.

Carbon fibre takes centre stage everywhere else, a full symphony of lightweight upgrades. The front and rear fenders, frame covers, swingarm protectors, engine covers, heat shields, and even the front light body and instrument cluster housings all swap factory plastic for carbon. The result is a visual and tactile lightness that makes the bike feel more distilled, more purposeful, more…KikasDesign. A D+ tailor-made seat is from the incredible in-house collection, wrapped in black Alcantara with blue stitching and a Tricolore accent, tying the entire theme together with an unmistakable nod to the bike’s birthplace.

Performance and refinement go hand-in-hand on this build, too. An Akrapovic homologated titanium slip-on lets the Desmosedici-derived V4 sing in a slightly angrier key. Brembo RCS master cylinders sharpen control at the lever. A Gilles rearset kit brings track-grade ergonomics, while premium hardware from AEM, CNC Racing, Motocorse, Futurismotor, DucaBike, and others elevate everything from the fuel cap to the oil pan protector. Even the smallest parts, frame plugs, fluid tanks, and radiator guards, contribute to a total, unified vision.

And that’s really the story here. The Blu Sideris StreetFighter V4S isn’t a collection of upgrades; it’s a curated experience. It’s the result of a builder who’s spent nearly two decades refining his craft, first as a painter, then as an engineer, and now as one of the most distinctive Ducati stylists in the world. KikasDesign has always blended aesthetics with precision, but this build feels like something more: a piece of rolling sculpture with a V4 heart and a master designer’s fingerprint on every millimetre. It’s fast, flawless and downright gorgeous.
