Spirit’s own Diamond Solo seat and Slash-Cut exhaust system, motocross-style handlebar and a shortened sub-frame with a cunning bolt-on solution for the rear frame loop added much to the bike’s new look. Replacing the bulky original items brings the extremities of the bike in closer, centralising the visual and physical mass.
Jelly grips and a low, bar mounted mirror give a very old-school feel to the cockpit, carried throughout the bike with items like the drilled MAS chain guard.
Upgraded front suspension with Ohlins progressive springs and the braking system with an EBC floating disc, new Nissin calliper and braided lines give it a much-needed increased power and feel.
Additional performance upgrades have been done since SOTS built, include Mikuni HSR 42mm carburettors along with the airbox removal kit to drastically increase power output, oil cooler kit to remove the radiator, rear Olhins shocks along with front progressive springs, Renthal sprocket and DID golden chain, custom black aluminium hubs and rims. All these recent upgrades are meant to make the bike much more powerful, lighter and look far simpler.
